How To Manage Change In Your Team

My team is going through lots of product changes and an increase in work load. How would you manage this transition over the next few weeks? Myself and another team manager are on holiday at the same time which also makes it a little worse. Many thanks.

The Team Doc Says…

First you need to communicate very openly with your team and provide them with the authority to get done what needs to get done. The last thing you need is your team fuming while you and the other manager are on holiday. I can hear the complaints now — “Must be nice to be a manager. They left us here with all this work and went on holiday!” You really don’t want your team to think that way of you.

To help your team cope long term, you may want to pick up a copy of my special report “How To Keep Your Team From Drowning During Business and Organizational Change.”

Get started by putting your team to work on the solution. Hop on over and read “How To Adjust The Team When The Workload Is Heavy.
