How To Maximize Each Team Member’s Strengths

How can members of a team fulfill his or her role, without compromising their personal identity?
The Team Doc Says…
Just because you are a member of a team doesn’t mean you have to lose your identity. Each member of the team has strengths and weaknesses and, hopefully, your strengths are leveraged on your team and there is another team member who fills the gap that are your weaknesses.
Even though there should be a focus on team goals for a team to be successful and high performance, each team member has a specific role to play in fulfilling those goals and making them successful. And each team member should have individual goals too.
You also want to make sure that team members are rewarded properly. Recognizing achievements of the team is always a good thing, but don’t forget that it’s appropriate to award individual team members too. Remember, there is no “I” in team but there is a “Me.”
