Team Facilitator Equals Big Job

The course of all meetings does not run smoothly. All of us have experienced meetings where problems come up. These problems are usually manifested by some form of participant behavior, and if not dealt with effectively, they can undermine the entire meeting experience. You, as the team facilitator are responsible for seeing that problem situations are resolved, rather than ignored or allowed to disrupt the meeting.

In most cases, these problems can be dealt with by sensible intervention on your part. As team facilitator, you must use your judgment, common sense, and knowledge of the meeting participants to determine what will work most effectively with a given team.
