Team Feedback Must Be Specific

In a team setting, it’s important to provide feedback the appropriate way to promote team member growth. Provide feedback by describing the behavior you observed rather than personality traits. Be specific. Use “I” statements: “I saw”, “I heard”. Talk about the impact of the behavior: “ I felt …when you…”. Be sincere with your comments.
