Mass Team Member Exodus Pending

Remember when it was an employee’s job market? If the economy improves that could happen again. Your team members could just be waiting for that “right” moment. Take steps now to secure their loyalty. Remember that retaining team members is more than money. Determine the job factors that are important to each of your team members and do what you can to accommodate those needs. It will pay off for your company in the long run.

The new year is expected to usher in a flurry of job hopping as employees frustrated by years of incremental raises and scarce advancement opportunities begin shopping for new employers. Nearly half of U.S. companies face an employee exodus as the economy improves, according to a survey by Novations Selection, Development and Communication, a performance improvement firm. Typically, fewer than 10% of employers would expect such turnover.
