Words That Will Trip Your Team Building

Open communication in your team is critical to your success. Words that are used during team discussions create different perceptions by different people. Consider the 15 words below. Assign a percentage between one and 100 indicating the “weight” of what that word means. For example, does always mean 100% of the time or something else?

Once you’ve done this exercise, take it to your team and have a team building meeting around it. Have each team member assign percentages privately, then share as a group. It’s a powerful activity that will improve your team communication.
