Your Team Believes Your Action, Not Your Words

Be aware of your own reactions to the decisions your team members make. Notice whether you are supportive, if you give credit for a good decision to the appropriate person, and what action you took the last time a team member brought you an issue and suggested solution. Your own reactions make the difference in how effectively your team makes decisions and how empowered they truly feel.
