This session is an introduction to the Ask Team Doc podcast – why I'm doing it, and what's in it for you.

In case you've never heard of me, I've spent several years working with teams and their leadership to help them improve and work through team issues, and I've been helping people with their challenges here on my website at since 2005. I'd like to help you too.

It's A Jungle Out There!

The Ask Team Doc podcast delivers team building tips to help busy managers, team leaders, and team members just like you navigate today's crazy business world.

Here's The Biggest Issue

As companies got squeezed by the economy, they looked for ways to get the work done with less people. That's why teams became so popular. But the problem is most companies just start calling working groups of people a “team” and expect them to figure out how to make it happen. Clearly, that doesn't work.

Teams Are Running Amok And Don't Know What To Do

My email inbox is filled to the brim with requests for help from people who work in teams that can't function because they don't communicate, can't make decisions, are riddled with conflict issues, can't find a way to hold team members accountable, and have leaders who don't know how to lead — plus they are being squeezed by management to do even more with less.

Whether you're a manager, team leader, or a team member who wants your team to work better, I know you want your team be the best.

That's what I'll help you do with this podcast.

I'll share critical tips and advice every week that will help you in your day-to-day activities — in a quick 15 minute (or less!) sound bite because I know how busy you are.
